How do I remove my self tan before reapplying?
The best way to remove tan is using St.Tropez’s specially designed Tan Remover Mitt. Simply use on wet skin with your regular shower product, adding extra pressure to elbows, knees and those areas where tan has more obvious build up.
What is the best technique to get to the top middle of your back?
Easy - turn the Mitt around onto the back of your hand and your arm will reach that little bit higher. You could also use one of St.Tropez’s Bronzing Mists with their 360° spray to reach those difficult areas.
How do I get flawless hands?
The claw! Claw your hands, spreading your fingers apart and bending at the knuckle (see video for demonstration).Remember to blend in any leftover product on your Mitt across the top of your hand, no extra pump needed. You can also apply a little extra moisturiser to the knuckle to create a barrier for a lighter glow, if these areas always appear darker.

Which products create a natural and subtle look on fairer skin?
Nadine and Jayne recommend St.Tropez’s Gradual Tans as the perfect way to build up to your desired glow. Personal favourites include the Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion, for a light sunkissed glow that you can build each day. As all St.Tropez products adapt to individual skin tone, you can ensure you’ll have a flawless, natural tan every time.
When should you next exfoliate after applying tan?
After you have applied your self tan, begin gently exfoliating after around 3-4 days with St.Tropez Body Polish, and then again when you are ready to reapply.
How can I achieve a flawless tan if I’m short on time?
St.Tropez’s Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion is a great way to fit tanning seamlessly into your daily routine if you’re time poor. Favoured by gym-goers and those new to self tan, simply apply in the shower with the water turned off, wait just 3 minutes (for example whilst applying a hair or face mask) and rinse off. You can build up each day to your desired depth, and you will be good to glow in no time! The Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse and Mist are also great for those who want to glow on the go. Simply wash off after 1,2 or 3 hours and let your tan continue to develop over 4-8 hours.

Do St.Tropez products have a smell?
As explained in the video, rather than attempt to mask the chemical culprits behind the notorious biscuit smell associated with self tan, the St.Tropez formula works with those elements to create a lovely, mood-boosting fragrance that will leave you feeling fresh and full of confidence.
What is the best product recommended for ageing, drier skin with lines or wrinkles?
Jayne recommends St.Tropez’s Gradual Tan Luminous Veil as it will offer a tan that you can build each day, but also offer skincare benefits such as light reflecting pearls for a flawless finish. It also has Red Snow extracts which are anti-ageing!
Can you use the classic on your face?
You absolutely can, however St.Tropez’s range offers specific face products which offer non-pore-blocking technology. The new Self Tan Express Face Sheet Mask doubles as a skincare treatment, thanks to its key ingredient Hyaluronic Acid which is ultra-hydrating!
To apply; simply cleanse and exfoliate skin as normal, to remove any residue product and place the mask on your face. Leave it on for between 5-15 minutes, dependent on your desired depth of tan/intensity, and then lift off, blending any leftover product around your eyes, hairline and down to your décolletage. Top tip: wait around 4-8 hours before washing your face, for a perfectly even finish and you will be good to glow!

How can I avoid my self tan looking orange or green?
St.Tropez promise that their tan is never orange! Upon application, the tan may appear to take on a deep brown colour which is actually only a guide-colour to help you achieve a streak-free finish, and works to counter-act any orange tones. Any green or khaki tones are likely a result from the oxidisation of deodorants or moisturisers, so always make sure to apply tan to completely clean skin.
What's the best product for men?
St.Tropez’s mousses and mists are great for men as they blend seamlessly with body hair! But make sure to use their Mitt to buff droplets that may sit on the hair. Alternatively, you may like to try their Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion; apply in the shower with the water turned off, leave on for 3 minutes then rinse off for a light glow.
When is the best time to apply your self tan?
Nadine recommends applying your product at the coolest time of the day to avoid perspiration affecting your tan’s development, ideally first thing in the morning or last thing at night.
Which St.Tropez product can Nadine and Jayne not live without?
Nadine loves the Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse, Gradual Tan Plus for the face and the 3 in 1 Bronzing Powder. Jayne’s favourite is the Self Tan Express range in which you can leave on for 1, 2 or 3 hours depending on your depth of glow, great for those who want to tan on-the-go.
