Holidays prove a breeze at new Paphos hotel

The new all inclusive four-star Louis Paphos Breeze hotel in Chlorakas aims to be an island within an island. Each of the 40 spacious studios for couples and 104 one-bedroom suites for families has a colour pallet that plays with white and grey to ensure a tranquil stay.

The hotel’s winding pathways, white buildings and palm trees gives you the feeling of being on a Greek island. And the Greek feel does not end there. Not only are the main restaurant and bars named after Greek spices but the smell, feel and look of a Greek island are there from the very start. The white, clean reception area with white cloths and baskets hanging from poles and the built-in benches give you that island feel.

The reception area leads to a sun terrace, from where can see the whole resort before taking the lift or stairs to its main area.

The idea behind the resort, which opened its doors to the public on May 1, is that visitors can book a holiday here and leave all their worries behind. Everything is brand new within a modern and somewhat moderate setting. The main aim is relaxation and peace of mind, without too many factors getting in the way. The beautiful sunset and view of the sea (there is no direct route to the beach from the resort) provide the perfect backdrop for your final dip of the day.

The Paphos Breeze is perfect for families (and singles/couples) who want to get away from their busy schedules for a few days or holiday makers who want to take in the beauty of our island without having to worry about the little things. There are extensive gardens where you can sunbathe, a large pool and a kids’ pool, a more excluded pool area for people who want a more relaxing and calm atmosphere, an indoor pool and a play area for the children.

There is also a gym with the latest technology, tennis facilities, a spa and a kids’ club. The entertainment does not stop there. There is also water polo, water aerobics and aqua gymnastics. The resort also includes three bars while shows are performed in a specially designed area that makes sure the noise does not disturb other guests’ relaxation.

The main Rigani restaurant offers a buffet which will take you to different destinations every morning and every night. The breakfast buffet includes a healthy option of fruit, yogurt, porridge and more, the full English breakfast – including brown sauce – Cypriot delicacies, including spoon sweets, baked goods and dried fruit, and an array of cheeses and other delicatessen items.

The Greek themed restaurant really does complete the Greek island feel. With the slogan Greek Meze Tastes Better Shared, cooks can be seen preparing the meze.

Its white tables and mosaic floors put you in the mood for the finest Greek food as soon as you step in. The meze experience lasted approximately one and a half hours so you can savour every taste.

To dine in the Meze restaurant, you have to book in advance. It is open from Monday to Saturday from 7pm until 9.30pm.
There is also a free shuttle bus to the Kings Avenue shopping mall and the harbour daily, except Wednesdays and Sundays.
